The FUNCY-SSB project is built on the complementary strength of six research and industry partners from Germany (Fraunhofer ISC, Cylib and EurA), Norway (University of Oslo and Morrow) and Slovenia (National Institute of Chemistry).
The whole consortium has extensive experience in the field of batteries. It is comprised of experts in battery materials development, including solid-state electrolyte development, electrochemistry and relevant characterization techniques, in Li-ion battery production and recycling, and in Life Cycle Assessment.
Together, the partners deliver the complementary expertise necessary to find innovative solutions, to obtain a more nuanced understanding of problems, and to thereby achieve the project goals.
